As the Argentinian team has faced much disappointment and change over the last year, with the loss to Chile in the finals of Copa Centenario, the change of coach, and Messi´s announcement of retirement, this is an important time.

On Monday 9 June 2014 the Argentinian national football team left the country to defend the honour of their homeland during the FIFA World Cup Brazil 2014. They flew from Buenos Aires Ezeiza (Ministro Pistarini) to Belo Horizonte in Brazil.
The plane that took them to Brazil, a Boeing 737-700 of the official carrier of the Argentine national selection; Aerolíneas Argentinas, was specialy decorated with some nice details. On both sides of the fuselage they’ve put a picture of the captain of the team, Lionel Messi, and other idols like Higuaín and Agüero. (more…)

Argentina Builds Airport in Brazil for World Cup

On April 16, 2014 the Brazilian president, Dilma Roussef, inaugurated a new terminal building at the Brasília Airport. This terminal was built by the Argentinian company “Corporación América”.

The “Brasília – Presidente Juscelino Kubitschek International Airport” is one of the busiest and most important airports in Brazil and serves both for civil and military traffic. Because of the upcoming FIFA World Cup 2014 to be organized in Brazil, the airport was not expected to handle all the traffic during the period of the cup. That is why the Brazilian government decided to build a larger terminal. (more…)
