DESCRIPTION

Rather than renting a bike and riding the classic «circuito chico» (short circuit), we show you some of the most amazing, exciting yet safest places that you would never know existed. After assessing the physical condition and driving skills of the individual, we take you to the most appropriate track to experience the ride of your life. With 14 years of Mountain Bike experience, we are prepared for any eventuality; we carry an appropriate communication for the area and are all fully trained in first aid. In addition, we provide you with a nourishing snack en route to enhance your physical performance! Browse through our options and select the one most suited to your requirements.


Cerro Catedral (0,5 day; beginner-intermediate)
Mountain Bike Tours Around Bariloche With the bikes loaded in the back of our vehicle, we collect you from your hotel and head to the principal ski resort in South America situated at the base of Cerro Catedral (Mount Cathedral). Taking all equipment in a chairlift, we ascend to 1,400 metres above sea level. Following a safety briefing on proper positioning and the correct use of gears, we begin our descent down the beginners track. Taking an amazing route, we experience breathtaking views through woodlands, crossing streams and cascades along the way. After a thrilling ride, we end our trip at the beautiful beach in Lago Gutierrez where our vehicle will be waiting to return you to your hotel.


Cerro Otto (0,5 day; beginner-intermediate)
With all equipment in our vehicle, we collect you from your hotel and drive to Cerro Otto, situated at 1,400 meters above sea level. Beginning our ride, we pass through the beautiful Lengal (Lenga Wood) and arrive at Piedra de Hasburgo (Hasburg Rock) to experience one of the most breathtaking views in the area. Following a light snack, we begin our descent through an area of woodland towards Lago Gutierrez (Gutierrez Lake)situated at 760 metres above sea level; an easy downhill ride to complete the days’ excitement.




Largo Llum (1 day trail, intermediate & advanced)
Mountain Bike Tours Around Bariloche Largo Llum is a magnificent pool nestled almost 900meters above sea-level amidst beautiful Cypress woodland. To reach this picturesque spot, we experience a skillful and fun 12km ride through woodlands, along Largo Mascardi (Mascardi Lake) with its idyllic Caribbean style beach. Here we can take a break whilst you enjoy a swim, or rock dive for those with a more adventurous spirit!






Valle del Manso (Duration, 1-3 days, all levels)
This 20km valley trail takes us over the Manso River, an interesting and very fascinating valley region. The area is inhabited by descendants of the indigenous people who continue to uphold the same ancient traditions as their ancestors who settled within the Nahuel Huapi National Park area in the late 19th century.  Along the route we stop at 5 different settlements for a chance to exchange tales and to experience some of the traditional homemade cuisine, including “torta frita” (fried pastry). After crossing a hanging bridge, our excursion ends at a sandy beach with a magnificent emerald whirlpool at the Manso River. This is without doubt, a truly extraordinary, exciting and unforgettable adventure.


Isla Victoria (Duration; ˝ day. Level; beginners)
Mountain Bike Tours Around Bariloche Meeting in front of Hotel Llao Llao, we board a boat to Isla Victoria. The island is a protected area of 22km in length, covering almost 4,000 hectares and was home to one of the first native settlements. The Nahuel Huapi National Park (meaning Island of the Tiger in the mapuche language) owes its name to this area. Arriving at Puerto Anchorena we begin our trail through enchanting woodland to an ancient forest running along the northeast shore of the island where there are many opportunities to see magnificent red deer running wild. Emerging from the forest, we arrive at Piedras Blancas (white rocks); a tranquil sandy beach. Our ride continues with some up and down-hill excitement, stopping off to learn a little of local wildlife and the history of some fascinating homes that date back to the beginning of the previous century. After lunch and a relaxing break by Lake Nahuel Huapi, we re-tread our steps back to the port and take the boat back to base.
