Argentine driver Alejandro Patronelli, winner for the second consecutive year of the Rally Dakar in the quads category, said "it was a perfect race" and was most satisfied for having concluded the 1-2 with his brother Marcos.
"It was a perfect Dakar and I am very happy with the result; it is not easy at all to win the competition two years running", said Patronelli in Lima, Peru where the competition concluded on Sunday.
"Some stages were difficult, some not so but generally speaking we did a perfect job. This would not be possible without a great team behind us so thank you from the bottom of my heart", added the driver.
Patronelli mentioned the differences with the last championship: "last year I hurt my hand and had a very rough time. This year everything went perfectly. At each stage we pressed ahead, we were lucky not to have complications and things concluded wonderfully".
The 2012 Rally Dakar concluded this Sunday in Lima after having departed January, 1st from Mar del Plata and after five stages in Argentina followed by Chile and Peru.
