Cirque de Soleil: The circus is coming to Buenos Aires!

Cirque de SoleilThe world renowned circus, named Cirque de Soleil is making an appearance in Buenos Aires on the 8th of September. The show has been written and directed by Dominic Champagne, he has created a new way of presenting the art of Circus to the world. By combining the old circus traditions, of the Icarian games and Georgian dances, with the new futuristic revolutions of the Russian swings and triple trapeze, Champagne has produced a must see event.

The “Varekai” show originated about 10 years ago in Montréal and has since expanded to the international audience. The name of this show is “Varekai” which, in Romany language means “wherever”; it has since been presented around the world in more than 18 countries, amounting to over 8 million people that have seen this outstanding show.

This particular performance has been created to spark the imagination of the crowd, whether they are young children or older patrons, whom wish to be whisked away into a moment of unworldliness. These spectacular circus acts involve some of the best circus performers in the world; the displays include a unique fusion of drama, acrobatics and state-of-the-art musical innovations.
