Enjoy the Best of Patagonia, which includes all the highlights of this breathtaking region. We will bring a visit to El Calafate, a little village in the the southern border of Lake Argentino, from where we go on excursion to the impressive Perito Moreno Glacier. Then we continue our trip to El Chalten, a small mountain village within the National Park “Los Glaciares””. There are many possibilities for trekking, such as Torre mount Torre Glacier, and Fitz Roy (also known as Cerro Chaltén). Of course the best of Patagonia has to include Torres del Paine, with its imposing peaks as a background to its colored vast lakes and vegetation, sure to offer unbeatable sceneries. Futhermore, you will head to Puerto Natales, a fishers village, and then to Punta Arenas from where you will continue by land to Ushuaia, crossing the mythic Magellan’s Strait to the Tierra del Fuego Island. This southernmost city will enchant you with its charming atmosphere, provided by the locals, the buildings, the views of the snowcapped mountains, the national park and the Beagle Channel.
Day 1: Arrival El Calafate, transfer to hotel.
Day 2: Full day excursion - Perito Moreno Glacier.
Day 3: Day at leisure - El Calafate.
Day 4: Transfer by bus to El Chalten (approx. 4 1/2 hours). Afternoon at leisure.
Day 5: Free day for trekking. (Suggestions: Torre mount and Torre Glacier.)
Day 6: Free day for trekking. (Suggestion: Fitz Roy Mt.)
Day 7: Day at leisure. Tranfer by bus, back to El Calafate.
Day 8: Full Day Excursion - Torres Del Paine National Park. Morning Bus to Chile, crossing the borders and entering the Park. Return in the evening to Puerto Natales.
Day 9: Morning at leisure. Afternoon transfer by bus from Puerto Natales to Punta Arenas. Afternoon at leisure.
Day 10: Transfer from Punta Arenas to Ushuaia. Arrival in Ushuaia in the evening.
Day 11: Full day trekking excursion to Tierra del Fuego National Park. Canoeing tour through Lapataia river and Beagle Channel.
Day 12: Morning at leisure. In the afternoon half day navigation through the Beagle Channel.
Day 13: Breakfast. Transfer to the airport or to the bus terminal.
